WINDOWS IN WOOD-ALUMINIUM – Overlux Clima
The distinctive trait is that to have a system of profile in xPS (polystyrene) high thermal isolation vinyl coating between a layered wooden internal frame and an external aluminum cladding. Glulam consists of 4 or more solid or finger-jointed layers, both for frame and sash, glued with class D4 glue according to the requirement of the standard regulation EN204 The boards forming the laminated profile can be solid or jointed through finger-joint system depending on its field of application or the articles technical specifications.

The frame and the sash are coated on the external part with profiles in aluminum painted with thermo powder or electro color. and centrally by frames insulated in xPS vinyl coated. The xPS frames are attached to the fixtures by screws and the cladding in extruded aluminum are attached to the xPS frames, by a system of nylon clips, both swivel and sear lever, allowing a optimal junction of the independent frameworks free within their physiological movements. The aluminum frameworks, within their normal limits of feasibility, are jointed in the corners through welding system, while the oxidized finishes and wood effects will have the corners jointed through caulking system.

Triple glazing double chamber, low emission glass type plus gas argon and aluminum spacer or on request “warm edge”; internal and/or external glass sheets, tempered or stratified as per minimum requirements set by the standards UNI 7697:2015.
Surface treatment of the wood with acrylic based resins in water emulsion; the application cycle varies from three to six layers depending on the finish and the duration requested.
